View Full Version : Size Limit on Flash Memory for O2 XDA?

Hi,

I am pretty much a novice with my second-hand XDA 1. I was wondering if there is an SD card size limit that this version is compatible with? I was going to make a purchase, but didn't want to waste my money if it won't work.

Well from experience a 1gb card seems to work fine in my XDA not sure about the 2gb cards, i am always to reserved to fork out the wad of cash they want for one of them and 1gb seems to do me fine. Hope that helps

Thank you, scousemartin, I'll now think about investing in the 1Gb card or, if they come way down in price, a 2Gb.

I have been using a 2Gb card for months now without any problems on my XDA2. The only thing is the bigger the card, the greater the lag in access time if you have hundreds of programs on it like I do. Its a minor annoyance but worth it as I no longer need to swap cards like before. Get the 2GB as you will likely find ways to fill up your 1Gb soon enough!
