View Full Version : SunnySoft back up from 2003 can't get it working on WM5

After my saga of not being able to use Xbackup in WM5.
I rolled back to 2003 restored my contacts.
The back them up with sunnysoft.
upgraded to WM5
Then tryed to reinstall my contacts via my sunnysoft back up.
It all works ok, but I just can't see the contacts or calander information.

Is it restored some where else.
I only have the trial version of it do you think that is the problem.

I'm temped to got back to 2003 all together but I get error messages.

Won´t work at all ... PocketOutlook has completely changed the database from WM2003/SE to WM5! So this is not a problem of Sunnysoft (BTW: you can buy at pocketland.de (all languages available) for more or less 9 EUR at the moment).

In WM5 you will find all the informations in the PIM.vol ... which never existed in WM2003/SE.

So ... in the worst case: go back to WM2003, sync all contacts to the desktop and re-snyc with the WM5.

Have had the same experiences :(

Yes Shrek3k is right.
You have to go back to WM2003 then load your Backup to get back your PIM Data, than sync your WM2003 device with AS4.1 then upgrade your device to WM2k5 then sync your Device with AS4.1 (PIM Data back) then you can use Sunnysofts Brilliant Software it works perfectly under WM2k5 (started with 1.60c now 2.01a.32 Ger).
