GPS software and US maps???

Could anyone suggest which GPS software is good.
I have the GPS hardware already, I am just looking for the program and maps.

You may want to try www.gpspassion.com. They do reviews of almost all the software out there. Since you're from Canada, you may consider iGuidance, or TomTom
