Hi!

I use some software that needs internet connection, but for some reason, it does not make my JasJar connect when needed. It just displays en error after a time out, and I have to manually connect.

However, I'm not sure what the best way to do this is.
Normally for checking email, the device sorts ouit connection on its own, but I would like maybe an icon on the today screen for "connect to internet" or something like that as a short cut.

So far, I'm going through the manage own connections, then click holding "connect" on the internet connection.

A bit of a hassle to have to click around this much.

Thanks,

Frode

You can also start up IE first, which will make the device connect, and then go to your app.

Yes, but then IE is running in the background somewhere taking memory resources.
The app I'm running is VERY memory hungry, so I need as much free as possible.

Come on, it MUST be possible to create some icon in the start list to just simply connect it to GPRS or 3G??

"VJVolubilis -gprson" will do that.

Also use "VJVolubilis -gprstoggle" for more flexibility.
