Can I use a Verizon Audiovox XV 6600 with my Alltel carrier?

Can I use a Verizon Audiovox XV 6600 (CDMA 800, 1900) with my Alltel carrier in the US? If yes, what is the procedure for getting the phone to work on my Alltel carrier. Do I have to unlock the phone or do something else?

I've heard of people using the xv6600 on alltel, it might take some begging now that they have a ppc phone(xv6700), I've manually programed mine on verizon(just had it with the tech's). If you can get them to accept the esn i might be able to help you get it running...

Here is Louisiana and all southern states, when Verizon customers are here in Louisiana they are able to go to Alltell and ask them to add their number to their towers so they are able to get signal. On my Siemenx SX66 Im on T-Mobile Network. And as you know Sprint and Nextel are together so yes there is a chance that your phone my work with Alltel
