Xda IIi Unlocking

Hi everyone,

I'm new to all this and being a female I'm just confused with what I need to do! :oops:

I have an XDA IIi that I got from O2 in the uk a year ago and now I live in NZ and need to have it unlocked so that I can use an NZ sim card in it. O2 uk want to charge me for it so can I get it unlocked for free? :roll:

I so how, (and in plain english too as I'm not very good at all this technical stuff!) :D
