Hi, I've trawled thrugh a lot of posts on getting GPS via bluetooth to work. I'm still confused, and its not working, some posts say that the reg hack is ineffective for later ROMS. I'm running the K-JAM WWE 2.16 ROM.

Do I need to hack the registry?

Has anyone else got this wokring?

The GPS receiver is a CPIT GP-27.

i've not got your gps reciever, but u have had my gps/tt5 working for ages now with both the shipped rom and the new O2 one.

*) delete your partnership between your gps & your wizard
*) If you have hacked the reg to get the BT options, undo whatever you did!
*) Pair your gps/wizrad
*) create "new outgoing port" (bluetooth menu / com ports)
*) select you BT reciever
(assuming TTN5)
*) open TTN
*) click the status bar, then configure GPS
*) select "other BT GPS"
*) select your baud rate & port

Voila

This mirrors my experience with iGuidance and a HP Ipaq GPS unit. The process of pairing and creating new outgoing port are the same. Then...
(assuming iGuidance)
*) open iGuidance
*) Go to Tools menu -> GPS Options -> COM Port and set to agree with the outgoing port you set up.
*) Also under GPS options, change the Baud rate if needed. (default of 4800 was fine for me)

The next time, start your GPS first thne start up iGuidance and it should automatically pair and start sending signal.
