Still struggling with xda Exec

I am beginning to wonder if upgrading to an exec from a II was such a good idea.

I have installed and uninstalled Activsync 4.1 many times but I cannot get my laptop (running WP SP1 ) to connect with the exec.

It comes up with an unknown USB device error message.

If the device can't be synced it's useless for my purposes.

Anyone got any ideas before I throw the machine in the river!!

Don't throw it in the river, give it to me.......... :lol:

I'd try it on another machine so I could rule out whether or not its the Exec or the Laptop.

I think, you need sp2. just my 2 cents...
