dopod 818 pro back up issues

hi i have a dopod 818 pro, i wanted to update my rom to version 2.X.X.X, i used spb backup to back up my mobile (full backup). The ROM update went fine and after the update i tried to run the .exe backup file to restore my contacts and other details, but i encourtered problems...in the middle of the back up the mobile it reset automatically and after that it is not switching on... i am able to see only the "windows mobile" screen with the log...anyone please help me to bring back my mobile to running status. it is not even connecting in Activesync.

Full backup would have backed up everything, not just your contacts etc. I'm not surprised you've got problems. You have probably over written some of the stuff that has been updated leaving you with a partly updated device.

I would try to downgrade back to the original ROM, do the restore, Sync all your contact details etc using Active Sync, re-do the upgrade then re-sync.
