MDA compact II new ROM - AKU 2.0 05/2006

For the MDA compact II there is a new ROM-file on the german t-mobile-website. :)

Changes i have seen on my first look:

- SIM-access
- Comm-manager
- Some little changes on the today-screen (battery-image now on the right top side, Comm-Manager-icon on the right bottom)

I have had problems with ActiveSync over bluetooth. It didn't work... This problem is also solved with the new ROM.

Not sure if they will do the UK version. They (and many) kinda scrap the Charmer unit.. hope they won't just chuck it to the bin.

i haven't any sdio-devices. :( you can be sure, that this would have been the first thing i had reported to you all. :lol:
but i hope that anybody will have success with them because i want to buy a wlan-sd-card.. ;)

What is the downside to updating to this ROM if English with UK network? Is the language all German?

Do you know if there is A2DP support in this new ROM?

A friend at work have a MDA Compact II, and flashed it dead :lol: He said update worked, then he made a reset before Device installs the Branding, and then the device hangs in bootloader. Yesterday i go to him and reflashed the rom in bootloader mode, but it still doesn't boot. Also tried an older ROM, the same. So he send it back to get a new one (warranty).

I have installed the new rom on my charmer (mda II) but no wlan! I use a c-guys sd wlan card, doesn't work!

I did up this ROM.Nothing change about speed,maybe slower,specially Softreset.But don't mind about germany,we can guess!

please help me , i updated molski rom for wizard for my friend s mda compact ii, the rom lukily works but i think it damage the battery function cuz the fone cant be charged, battery always stay at 0%, please help meee:((:((
