How do I change Ring Tones in the phone?

I was trying to change the ring tones and I have only a limited selection in the menu. I want to be able to put my own ring tones, and even mp3.

to change ur sms tones, put a wav file on the windows folder of your device. to put mp3's to be used as incoming call tones, place ur mp3's on the root of your my documents folder. u can also create a my documents folder on an external storage (sd) and put your mp3's there.. it will automatically detect in the sounds and notifications tab.

I forgot to ask... what about midi files, where should I put those.

i think that goes too for midi files. depends on where u want to use it. just follow my instructions above
