I recently bought a german QTEK S200 and upgraded to latest Dopod ROM that is available in ftp.

I used lokiwiz and awizard tools to return to an older JAMin ROM that did not work as you very well expect.

Than I realized that I am unable to hardreset or put the jamin in bootloader mode. I am sure that before ROM upgrading I was able to do so; but I am not sure when the problem started. I mean whether it happened before using above tools or not. I am able to upgrade with dopod ROM one after another that makes the device enter bootloader and hard reset afterwards but manually I can not.

The cam and conn man buttons and soft reset all work alone but not in combination. I tried to wait for 5 to 10 sec before I take the stylus out of the hole but nothing changed. Aso the exe file enterbootloader is under windows and when I click it the device enter bootloader. Any comments?

Also is there a chance to have a QTEK German ROM with AKU 1. If so I will try the assumed but not proven method to downgrade to a lower ROM with prophet (which worked with wizard with a custom ROM).

Cheers.

After flashing the same Dopod ROM one after another the device started to enter bootloader  and after a few more flashing the device can be hard reset as well. 8) No need to tell that I very happy :D

Hi ppl.
I suggest you to use cradle with 5V (1A) original charger or give 5V voltage to device externally.
By the way: to get prophet in Bootloader mode u need to hold continuously Cam and Power buttons. But u should do this with 5V (1A) voltage.

Thats all.

Neither with USB cable nor with the external supply the device does not enter bootloader mode by your method.

Also known method (cam button + reset) does not work with external supply as well.
