If I install this will all my contacts and calender dates be deleted?

If so is there anyway to keep them.

Also is it worth installing or will it not make much of a difference?

Thanks

The ROM on that page is...

RUU_Prodigy_1060204_105_11210_TMO_UK_Ship.exe

Version 1.6.2.4 Date 15th Nov

To check your current software version, go to:Start > Settings > System > Device Information > Version. If you see 1.6.2.4 WWE then you don't need to flash to that file above.

Even if you do, yes everything on your phone gets wiped. Contact and calendar dates, as well as emails, notes and favorites will get saved to your PC if you have Outlook (the full version not the Express one) installed and you perform an activesync with it. To get the data back onto the device you sync again after flashing.

I have version 1.3.2.2 ENU

Should I upgrade?

If you are not experiencing any major issues that prevent you from using the phone for all of it's normal operations then it's not really worth upgrading. There's always a chance that something could go wrong during the flashing which could result in a dead phone, in extreme cases of course.

Under general usage, you'll most likely see some speed improvements and a few new features flashing to this newer version but nothing that substantial.

Just remember that any extra applications you installed on the Vario and the data that they generated, eg games with highscores do not get backed up to the PC via activesync.
