MMC ....... SD ????????

need yr help , just about to buy a i mate jamin and also a memory card along with it .

was thinking of a 1GB MMC instead of SD cause of the cost factor !!

so just wanted to ask if the MMC is compatible with the jamin or should go for a lesser capacity SD ????

Wow... MMC cards still exist! Haven't seen them around for a while. Last time I had to do a SD/MMC comparison (and it was 3 year ago) SD was much faster than MMC. Probably it is still this way.

MMC is cheaper than SD? I know MMC is slightly less 'advance' than SD, but I used to get SD cheaper than MMC. Anyway, I think MMC should be alright. In most units that support SD will support MMC but not the other way round (e..g unit support MMC may not support SD)

I have a 256 MB MMC Card and working great with the JAMIN.
