Hi, I have an XDA Mini S and would like to have Tom Tom Navigator on it. Being very new to this and a bit of a technophobe, can anyone tell me how to get it on my phone? Thanks. :)

1) Buy it for your device
2) Read the manual that comes with it
3) Install it as per manual.

It is that easy - Honest!
I had 'trial' version, purely for evaluation purposes you understand (ahhem!) once i got that working i went out and purchased a legitimate version - actually i bought it off e-bay along with a BT-GPS unit.
There are soooooooooooo many contradicting stories about compatibility of TTN5 with XDA mini s - two contradicting stories come from TomToms' own website!!!
try it - it does work

Thanks so much for your help! Where can i get a trial version from? I've just browsed ebay for the actual software and its quite pricey, so it waould be great to check it out first! :D

I purchased the software and reciever the other day, installed it and it works GREAT! I do agree it is a little pricey though. It is easy to install.

Anyone know where to get a trial version? I'd like to see how much I'd use it before spending an arm and a leg! lol
Glad it works well on there though, I love the phone and am slowly customising it to exactly how i want it.

Tom Tom don't do "trial" versions hence the " (ahhem!) "
.. and for the sake of this forum - please don't ask for a hacked version.
TomTom works just fine on a Wizard, most of the issues you'll read about are from people with hacked copies.
You do , however, have to watch out and ensue that you only install it on 1 pda/phone. The registration code it then "tied" to that pda in particular and if you change/upgrade pda's then it will not re-activate with the same code.. TomTom will have u sending them copies of receipts (for the new phone) etc - just to get a new activation code. It took me about 7 emails and just as many days to get mine re-activated when I switched from a XDAIIs (blue angel) to this Wizard.
There are cheaper sat nav programs out there though..

You need a BT-GPS - BlueTooth Global Positioning System receiver so that the TomTom software knows where you are.
The receiver uses geo-stationary satellites to calculate your lat and lon co-ordinates. You have to use a bluetooth version with the XDA as there are no external com ports for a wired antenna.
