ROM Update Qtek 8020 - problem, white screen.

friend want to install 5.0 to Qteq 8200 (i-mate sp4, spv c550 )

follow instructiom from this site

- make CID remove ( SPV-Service )
- download SPL 1.01.0109
- flash SPL 1.01.0109 to mobile til 100%, ask about reboot phone, rebooted ..

- start phone = white screen :eek:

Somthing wrong with bootloader ? reflash it ?

What we must do ? help please.

its because the WM5 upgrade is for typhoons not hurricanes. youve just trashed your bootloader by installing a typhoon one. back to the manufactuer now.
