A2DP Question

I recently installed the rom "Cingular_RUU_WIZARD_217_AKU2_WWE_CF2_A2DP-fixed.exe"

I paired my HT820 headset, but A2DP is not working. Is there another setting somewhere? All I get is a handsfree device once I connect.

Help from a total Noob:

First off, I don't know about that specific ROM... but...

Go to Start, Settings, Connections Tab, Bluetooth, Devices Tab, click Motorola HT820.

This should show you the settings to turn on and off... One of them should Wireless Stereo...

help from a non n00b, refresh the services in the bluetooth menu. if it does not say wireless stereo, then download the cab file called zoA2DP.cab that's below. Run that, reboot (might not be necessary), and try again. that should work.

question:
do you copy the zip file to your phone...then extract or extract on pc and copy all to a folder on the phone?

Now THAT's using the search function. This thread is as old as the hills, but you just put the file on your device and double click. Follow the inst. from there.
