basic questions after flashing BS ROM - how to add MMS etc

Hello world.

Just flashed the WWE_T-Mobile_1.13.zip BS ROM to my brand new VPA compact, which I bought for € 180 at eBay (btw: was that cheap or not?).
Now I would like to add MMS and Camera applications.

So my first question is, do I need to install a complete Extended ROM or can I pick only some of the CAB files of it?

If so, what are all those CAB files for and which are really necessary? Which do you recommend? I would prefer not to have any network operator's branding.

Download any of the Ext ROM from the ftp, extract it, then install the ones you like or need. Most filenames are self-explanatory. I personally installed only smartdial, mms, phone pad, camera.
