Hard reset when power button is pushed

My QTEC 2020 (ROM 1.72.01GER) performs a hard reset when power button is pushed.
Device is unusable! :cry:

Any ideas how to fix this ??

a good suspect i guess would be the softreset button inside the hole in the buttom of the device have got stuck

since if you push that and power button the device do a hardreset

Well, looks like this is pretty unusual.
Let me add that a soft reset is not possible anymore. Once you push the button you realize that there is resistance but nothing happens.

Of course did not change anything. No software- or hardware changes werde performed in the last couple of months.

Since I need my QTEC very urgently I would appreciate any help very much!

Sounds like Rudegar got it spot on. If you can't tap the soft reset to unstick it, then either you'll need to take it apart or send it off for repair.
