How come the flash size is 192MB in the picture. Atom comes only with 128MB flash.

news is in Chinese, this piece of software is in final test stage and will be available for download from O2 connect next month, Atom only.
it basically an O2 version of HTC's smart dialer, with added blacklist function and more (to be confirmed). from the screen shot, it looks like it will use the default windows dialpad (smart dialer does't work on default windows dialpad).

The atom on the pic has grey matted case and messages button instead of media plus (mine has music note engraved on the button - but not the letter symbol). I've only seen atoms with black and white glanced cases and never with 192 mb flash. Is that the device we all posess?
jess6217
9th June 2006, 02:58 AM
I'm guessing that this guy has performed a modification on his atom. Could possibly be the matt grey case from the jamin & he's simply put a bigger rom in there from another device. As far as I've seen the device which he shows doesn't exist.

Is there any way we could make a petition to ask O2 to put unicode support for the so-called "O2 Phone Plus"? That'd definitely save up some hackings to make it "compatible" to certain languages.

haha nope i cant get the camera to work at all wireless connection totally screwed too. I never went to the indian site at all. i simply flash my firmware :P i have currently revert back to the latest atm firmware.
If you flash your atom to the exec firmware, to revert back to orginal atom firmware, you must flash from bootloader or else you will get a COUNTRY ID OR DEVICE ID ERROR. Enjoy.

Soory but I'm not understand.
The device change to bootloader mode but asking for various files like "diskimg.nb0", "eboot.nb0"... anyway, the ROM from the site is a .exe file and can't be extrat.
Actually my Atom sometime "phone off" automatically then start again to re-search the network. So it make call drops. And before "auto phone off" , calls are not able to be ended anyway. So I try to reflash it by bootloader mode and see if it could be better.
Any suggestion? Could I reflash my Atom by older ROM?
Thx!

i did it.. :D its working great.. maldives, simply replacing ext rom of the atom leaves wireless manager as a mess and also, the cool proggies available from the autoinstaller are not available.. heres wat i did..
first run the atom rom (i used the latest rom, 20060426), coz i cudnt extract it using winrar.. dont continue, go to windows\temp, and there u'l find the contents of the rom.. there wil b a hidden file named "extendedrom.img" copy it to somewhere and cancel/close the atom upgrading wizard.. then extract the files of the atom exec rom to somewhere (desktop wil b just fine, and u can do it using winrar) there wil be the sam files u saw from windows\temp including the extendedrom.. these files are of the atom execs rom. now u hav both extended roms of two devices.. open up exec's extrom to winimage and extract the files:
-> autoinst.dat
-> devonecwpro5ppc_wm5_O2.cab
-> O2P2_ADV.CAB
-> phoneplus.cab
-> SMSBackup_PPC.cab
-> WorldMate.cab
-> the folder \WrlsMgrSkin as it is with all its contents
now open up atom's extrom to winimage and add these files to it, u'l hav to replace autoinst.dat. and overwrite this created extrom with the extrom u extracted from the atom exec's rom (which is in the folder on the desktop if ur doin it like am writin in this) and run "Device Software Update Utility.exe" and wait for the upgrading process to finish, u'l have atom exec's rom on ur atom with the camera and wireless manager workin with no prob.. :D
plz share ur experiences.. wil b glad to help if something goes rong.. :)

Damn! My screen is acting up. It looks like every other row of pixels is vibrating, so it's a striped, horisontal pattern. No matter what I show on the screen and no matter the settings for backlight and theme, it's there. Has anybody else seen that with this ROM? Apart from that it's not bad at all. I find the reset time shorter than with the latest official ROM!
Edit: I was hoping that this was because the unit's overclocked to 520 mHz by default with this ROM (no wonder it seems faster!), but I have now tried CPUXScalar, and it diden't help even slowing it down to 316 mHz. I guess I'll have to go back to a regular ROM. :( That is if nobody can give me a tip that fixes this! Still hoping...

No idea about the vibrating pixels but managed to upgrade mine using the uploaded .img file (on ftp) in place of the Exec's ExtendedRom. All functions working just fine.
Agree that the unit seems to be operating faster with a significant improvement in normal A2DP quality (now only pauses every 5/10 minutes ... so still a small way to go), and, from what I can tell, a higher recording frame rate when filming video's. Other than these, and a slightly different looking calendar (not sure if this is just one of my view settings which has changed though), everything seems to be as it was.
Anyone else noticed any other improvements ?

updated too with success. And runs faster and better than with the original software. But i also have the same problem as mastiff. XCPUScalar is not running.
Mastiff
3rd August 2006, 08:41 AM
Can this be a difference in screen drivers? I'm gonna try to reflash with this new, ready made version and see if that changes anything. But I also have a sneaking suspicion that this ROM eats the battery more than the original ROM. Can that be right?
Edit: And it charges just as slowly via the USB port on a PC as the latest official ROM. The earlier ROMs were charged a lot faster on my pc. Also I have a cradle bought on eBay, and when the Atom's in that, it won't charge from a regular charger, but when I take it out of the cradle and connect the charger directly, it charges. The only thing that charges the unit as it should is either doing this or connecting it to the USB port on the PC and running an additional 5 V power into the power input on the cradle.

HELP I flashed my atom and have the same screen freeze problem as the others but I cant flash back to the original ATOM Rom... The upgrade program always says "COUNTRY ID OF DEVICE ERROR".
Is there an upgrade tool similar to the _noID tools for the HTC devices?
Thanks!

No, but there is a "search" button on the forum page. Try looking for "bootloader mode"... Or I can be nice, even though non searchers anoy me: Remove any Mini SD card from the unit, and then press the camera button and the reset button at the same time. Your screen will go black, and the downgrade will work.

Xcpuscaler has never been a friend of Atom.
By the way at this speed you could say you wanted to scale down to save battery power. But how much would you really save? If you have issues with battery drain with this, just do a hard-reset, and not install O2 Plus. Reported by some one. I do not know if just uninstalling alone helps :?:

I have also upgraded to modified ROM, at first I did not have any problems with screen, but after a soft reset, my screen got the same problem with Mastiff and others. Going back to original ROM. I hope O2 creates a new ROM for Atom soon.
So does this screen issue affect all people who have flashed the exec ROM? Or is it only a few upgraders that have been affected? what is the general opinion......upgrade and keep your fingers Crossed, or wait for the next version to come?
Thanx for your advice.

Fly_snake,
Why did you want to go back to the Atom ROM, did you have hte same screen issues as some others? Do you have the official Atom ROM version downloaded to your PC now and what file name is it? What happens once you double click the original Atom ROM installation program after you are in Bootloader mode?

Now my ATOM( with ATOM_EXEC rom) cannot reflash rom at Bootloader mode, need sync at OS mode then can upgrade with any ATOM_exec ROM which is change or not change EXROM. if want to reflash ATOM ROM, the problem will happen. so anyone have NoID downloader for ATOM or can teach me how to change bootloader, Thanks

Hi Guys,
I have noticed that with the Exec update, the storage ram (in system info) now shows 192 MB (compared to the 128MB on an Atom), do u think that can be for real or is just hard coded into the ROM upgrade?
Also do you know how we can test the CPU speed to make sure that its really increased?
Thanks,

brothers, unfortunately, XCPUscalar don't working with Samsung processors, if you see 520 mhz, it doesn't mean, that you really have it on your Atom.... try to run spb benchmark... you will see...
What the hell are you talking about?! I quote the specifications: "Intel PXA272 416MHz" Where do you see anything about Samsung? It seems that flickering issue with Exec ROM is a hardware problem of some devices. I believe that the people who faced the problem with Atom restarting after soft resets (by stylus etc.) are also facing the problem with flickering screen. There could be solution to this issue, like a patch for screen driver, but it may require a real Guru to work it out. Unless there is such Guru with similar problem, there is no chance to get a solution.

Yeah, since it's there on the Exec ROM but not on the regular ROM, it could perhaps be possible to write a driver that got rid of it. But I have no idea how to do that, I can't program myself out of a paper bag!

MY SCREEN FLICKERS WHILE THE BLUETOOTH IS ON AND TRANSFERING, LIKE DURING BT ACTIVESYNC. BUT THIS HAPPENS ON ALL ROM VERSIONS SINCE I PURCHASED IT LAST NOVEMBER, SO IT'S A HARDWARE PROBLEM.
I CAN ONLY SEE THE FLICKERS WHILE THE SCREEN BACKLIGHT IS OFF, SO I DON'T REALLY CARE AS I SET THE DEVICE TO GO TO STANDBY AFTER 1 MINS OF NOT USE AND I ALWAYS DISCONNECT ACTIVESYNC AFTER I FINISHED SYNCHRONIZATION., NO MATTER ON BATTERY OR AC POWER.

ok, regarding mastiff's flickering problem, it's indeed look like screen refreshing and colour rendition like going back to 256 colours, i did an update method test to see how come this happens on some devices while others not. here is the result, interesting. Final result turns out to be a great disappointment, skip this post as if you will.
"Precaution": Remove Mini SD Card & Sim Card before update, this is to simulate a factory update condition....well, normally, why? read on....
Update Method 1 normal usb activesync update: shows no flickering
I updated my atom rom 0416, by connecting to pc while it's on (booted into windows mobile system like normal use, usb activesync connected and synchronised). update went flawlessly, the exec rom clean boot itself and starting up, no flickering at all.
Update Method 2 bootloader update: shows mastiff's flickering problem
I updated my atom rom 0416, by booting atom into bootloader (not booting into wm system), then perform update, update went flawlessly, however
the result of using bootloader to update this exec rom is flickering happens after clean boot, hard reset won't help.
so now my atom also flicks with the exec rom, finding a way to save it. still testing, will keep you posted.
follow up:
now my atom also has a flickering "256 colour" screen  .
1. the exec rom can not perform update method 1, as it shows "country id or device id error", so i reflash the same exec rom once again using method 2 - update in bootloader mode.
no help, it gets a flickering screen again.
2. I then revert back to 0416 rom from bootloader, the system boot up with no flickering.
3. as my atom has a 0416 rom again, i can flash to exec rom using method 1 - usb activesync mode (as tested above, this update method shows no flickering). so i flash it.
4. The Result: A Perfect Atom Exec Rom on Atom, no screen flickering. problem solved   Update: UNTIL...I take out the battery, put back the sim card & battery, then press the power button, the atom goes into 256 flickering screen again. current solution to this: put in your sim card while performing update method 1, and never remove battery, never let it depleted....... reverting back to 0416 rom now.
there must be something kept in the ram if you keep the battery in and have it charged all the time, eg. the graphic driver and screen configuration of the current system, though the reason unknown. however, our atom use 260K colour screen custom made by sharp, instead of an ordinary microsoft standard compliant 65K screen, maybe this is the cause, admit never seen this behaviour on other 65K screen ppc. once the battery is removed, the screen information in the ram is lost, the exec rom doesn't know to put it back in everytime reseting, resulting a miss configured flickering, "low colour" screen....
too bad to be true....
Moderators pls remove the rom links to avoid more casualties.

what worse is that flickering problem still exist in this version...

luchao18
9th August 2006, 11:42 AM
no, the new july exec rom does not allow you to return to any previous rom versions, neither via usb activesync update nor bootloader mode, in fact, the bootloader mode in this version does not allow you flash any rom versions, if you try to flash rom in bootloader mode, it will stop and display "pls update in OS mode and synchronised",
sadly this rom still has screen flickering problem if installed on atom, it's most likely due to real atom exec use a different screen type (or hardware revision), as it show hardware revision "B" in system information of a real atom exec (later model)
don't bother try.
currently the only usable rom for atom is still the offical 0416 atom rom.

use any exec rom on atom will cause flickering screen if you remove the battery, also confirmed by user "appu", so stay away from exec roms if you plan to remove battery once a while, or you occasionally or accidentally deplete the battery.

The difs are not valuable - only those described officially on o2 site. I did not find any perfomance improvement as well. The repacked rom fits basic atoms normally, but doesn't solve screen problems if you had them before.

I have now gone back to the first Exec ROM (with the already modified extended ROM), and it works very well. If the battery should be removed or depleted, you can fix it if you have Sprite Pocket Backup. What you need to do is to make a backup of the unit when you've installed your stuff. Then, if the battery's depleted and the screen starts to flicker, you'll revert to the regular Atom ROM and then just go straight into bootloader mode (you don't have to set up the device for use with the regular Atom ROM) and again program the Atom Exec ROM. Takes at least 40 minutes, but with almost no user input it's not that much of a pain in the ass if you don't plan to remove the battery often!
As for this latest ROM, I really like this part of the change log:
Adds new power save mode for FM Radio application. Pressing the power key will put device into power save mode (CPU in sleep mode) to achieve maximum power saving. In power save mode, user can listen to FM radio but device will not respond to any keypress except the power key. Pressing the center action button on the dPad will switch LCD off but device will still remain in IDLE mode (CPU in normal running state). In IDLE mode, user can use the dPad to control FM radio control functions.
I would like to try it, but can I please get a conformation from somebody else as well (not that I don't trust you, nfixatom, but I would like to know for sure that I can go back) that this version really reverts.
luchao18, is this the same thing you did to get back?

mastiff,
i did manage to revert to atom rom after intalling the july exec rom.
to do list:
1.run atom 0416 rom update program, after the DSUU program extracted the files, don't click "next", go to windows/temp folder, copy those files extracted, except "diskimage_Ver.nb0" and "ExtendedRom.img", then save them somewhere else.
2.run july exec rom update program, after the DSUU program extract the files, don't click "next," go to windows/temp folder, overwrite with the files you just saved, this will leave only the diskimage_Ver.nb0 & ExtendedRom.img files as of the july exec rom, others become atom rom files, including an older bootloader which allows you to flash back other roms.
3. flash
I didn't test the one on the ftp, but i think the theory is the same.
Mastiff
9th August 2006, 01:43 PM

My main reasons are the annoying dissappearing WiFi on the regular Atom ROM. When I have had it connected to the PC, I have to do a soft reset to get WiFi back. This happens at least once a day. Normally I need soft resets less than once a week! Also there's the extra speed really helping TomTom with lots of POI's, and finally, even though I'm paranoid, I like to be on the bleeding edge!

Yes, it is the best rom so far. My Phone pad works well now. Problem on the screen under direct sun light is gone and O2 support told me it was the hardware problem which they can not solve?!
Except in camera mode, the screen turns white which I have no idea why. The battery can not last for a day which is same as the old rom and again O2 support told me they have not find a solution for it yet.
Can anyone help?

I totally agree! This version I can set the options for the Phone Pad and get it to work in Norwegian! Unfortunately I haven't escaped that sunlight problem, I'm still seeing double lines. Still, this is very good, and I have never had my Atom this snappy in TomTom before! :D Luckily I never get close to draining my battery.

Just wanted to give a quick thanks to nfixatom, ugraded last night to the new Exec Rom (Xda-Atom-Exec-ENG-20060721-mod_n-fix.exe) and everythings working great.
No major changes, but a couple of fixes noticable here and there (fm radio can now be used in standby mode etc.) - always good to keep current in any case.

Hi Mastiff!
Is this version ok really? When you said double lines is this the same flickering problem as before? If i take out the battery or run out of battery, will the screen flicker again? Will this latest exec rom let me revert to the 0426 original atom rom easily? Thanks!

chrisani - not sure about the screen flickering issue as I've never had it with any of the Exec Roms. Must admit tho that my atom's never had it's battery removed either (and have no real desire to either), so no idea if it'll crop up then.
As I mentioned before, some improvements can be seen in the FM radio (and possibly stereo bluetooth - going to give it a longer trial tomorrow), but other than that it's pretty much as it says on the o2 site. Basically no urgent updates, just a general clean. Hope this helps.

i have the screen probllems after removing batttery too. i sometimes have to remove the battery after i make a backup with sprite backup because after the automatic reset after backup the flashlight is on and nothing helps only removing battery.
Ok so what is with the new fixed atom exec rom ? Is it still possible to go back to the old one (0614) as easy as to the rom (0426) that means for me connect to usb go to the bootloader mode and start the exe file on the desktop thats all ????

Edwin, I have no idea why your camera isn't working. Mine has been on both Exec ROM's. You sure it isn't another program you're installing after flashing that clashes with it? Have you tried your camera right after flashing, without installing anything else? If not, you should. Don't even install the auto programs that O2 wants you to have (O2 +, SMS + and so on).

TEST PERFORMED FOR THE SAKE OF ALL
I can confirm that the XCPUScalar "Anti flicker screen" option available in 2.96 doesnt work, also XCPUScalar 2.96 will crash the atom within a few seconds upon launching it. In any case I enabled the anti flicker option and it didnt fix a thing (atleast for the 10 seconds that my Atom survived before it froze!)
Also I did the whole upgrade for the sake of experiment, again with the new Atom Exec batch, the same problem exists. If you try to remove the battery (which I did on purpose), after starting the Atom again, the flickering will start. I'm sure that also if the battery was drained then the same effect will happen.
I noticed one thing though, that if I increase the screen brightness to the maximum (10), then the flickering is a little less noticeable...ofcourse that is not really effecient though!
I was able to go back to the latest Atom rom (0426) with no problems through the bootloader option (reset+camera). Although I think that was because the modified Exec rom which I already updated my Atom with had the file "EBOOT.nb0" of the original Atom rom update 0426. Later I restored all my files with Spb Backup and have my Atom back as it was...
The modified Atom Exec 0721 upgrade that I downloaded was from this link:
http://rapidshare.de/files/29082735/Xda_Atom__ROM_upgrade__ENG__20060721B1WWE.rar.html
Overall I will be waiting for a good update for us Atom users very soon I hope. Unless someone can find a cure for the fliker problem.
Good luck to all.
Cheers,
-Gus

mastiff,
i did manage to revert to atom rom after intalling the july exec rom.
You're a clever cookie  ......Exec Rom, killer of the Atom in so many ways  ... Phew! thanks bro, thought I was left with less than an almost piece of junk......... July Exec rom ran perfectly until battery went flat (10%)then all went pair shaped. I have the Exec also and I accidently decided to flash Atom with new Exec Rom  The July Exec rom runs perfectly on Atom until battery run dry or is removed, and it is a little time consuming to get back to original rom... thanks again bro

Guys,
I installed the Atom Exec rom on my Atom yesterday and everything seems to be working fine, I even took the battery out and put it back in, to see if it flickers but all still seems to be working fine and no flickerings at all. The camera is also working as normal. I am using 0721 rom!
Today I've been busy loading all my software's on to the phone and sorting Reg hacks.
I am I lucky or what!!
My Atom is now an Exec!!!!!!!!

i am performing the update procedure suggested by "invisible sense"
test environment:
1. rom version before update: 0416 official rom
2. with Mini-SD and Sim Card "IN ALL THE TIME"
3. battery fully charged
4. connected to PC via USB and activecsynced
test procedure:
1. update to 0614 modified exec rom via activesync, ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Atom/Edited_Xda-Atom-ENG-20060614_R060428N_EX0018_for_Atom.rar
2. after the 0416 to 0614 exec rom completed, do not disconnect from the pc, atom will perform a clean boot, once it's booted, blue windows mobile screen shows up and asks you to "tap the screen to start using the device". Activesync on pc side should also come up automatically asking for a relationship bonding, click "cancel", this will leave the connected atom as a "guest" relationship
3. run the update of the modified july exec rom. ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Atom/Xda-Atom-Exec-ENG-20060721-mod_n-fix.exe
OK, updated to july exec rom, then removed the battery, flickering begins. going back to 0416 official rom.
invisible sense: did i missing something during the update? or maybe your atom is a later build that have something (like screen) identical to exec.

luchao18,
My Atom is actually one of the very first Atoms that came out in Jan 06 which was pretty unusable at that time due to millions of bugs.
Here is what I did for Atom Exec update:
My Atom originally had the May Rom running.
Have your Atom connected via Active Sync.
1. I used winrar to extract - edited_Xda-Atom-ENG-20060614_R060428N_EX0018_for_Atom
2. Opened up the folder by double clicking on it
3. This folder contains 6 files, one of which is Device Software Update Utility.exe
4. Right click on the Device Software Update Utility.exe & select Extract to the specificed folder (on PC).
5. This will create a new folder called Xda-Atom-ENG-20060614_R060428N_EX0018 in the location you selected in step 4. Now double click this folder, this folder contains Device Software Utility Update. Running this will take u to the - Welcome to device software update utility - click next will start the update process
6. Once the update is complete - disconnect Atom from Active Sync and reset your Atom
7. Now your Atom should be running on Atom Exec 0614 Rom.
8. At this point I was playing & testing things. I did test by resetting the Atom once or twice. I DID NOT TAKE OUT THE BATTERY at all at this point.
9. I connected the Atom via Active Sync & installed SPB Backup program and did a backup as everything worked good.
10. Keep Atom connected and go to Atom ftp folder on Xda developers site and run - Xda-Atom-Exec-ENG-20060721-mod_n_fix. Then follow the on screen instructions, which will lead to the update process.
11. Once this is complete do the same as in step 6. Play around with it & then try taking the battery out & put it back on.
As I said mine is going good so far.
Good luck mate, I hope it works!!

!What do you mean right click on "Device Software Update Utility.exe", if the 6 files are there it has already been extracted how is it possible to extract it again? I of course have winrar but it does not show any context menu for extraction on the .exe perhaps I am not quite clear on your procedure. thanks anyway but didnt work for me either.

The flickering everyone is talking about, is this the same as when you bring it out into the sunlight or any bright light and it would then 'vibrate' each pixel line a bit?
Mastiff
20th August 2006, 01:17 AM
No. That's a hardware problem (I've got it). This is a screen driver problem that makes it seem like there's waves going from the top down, more of a pulsating motion.

I do not have the screen flicker problem, but reading all the issues reported, I decided to share my experience 8)
I did the first Exec upgrade without any problems and went on vacation. Removed battery to change SIM to a local one without problem. Then came the second Exec July ROM. I used the nfix one on ftp.
Because I did not have problems with the first one, I went ahead to upgrade to it. Took out battery a few times and re-inserted without screen issues. I returned to my base over the weekend and have since taken out the battery to replace my SIM card and re-started without screen flicker.
Now I believe this confirms the problem as a hardware issue. Date stamped inside battery cover reads 12/03/2005. Not sure about the format.
Cheers.

Bro read the full thread, you can flash back to original rom by procedure posted here. The edited roms posted can be easily flashed back by entering bootloader, only after installing official rom does it become slightly complicated as I found out. :D

Wow, this new ROM works great. When I removed the battery I had the screen problem. So no depletion of the battery anymore for me.

i am performing the update procedure suggested by "invisible sense"
test environment:
1. rom version before update: 0416 official rom
2. with Mini-SD and Sim Card "IN ALL THE TIME"
3. battery fully charged
4. connected to PC via USB and activecsynced
test procedure:
1. update to 0614 modified exec rom via activesync, ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Atom/Edited_Xda-Atom-ENG-20060614_R060428N_EX0018_for_Atom.rar
2. after the 0416 to 0614 exec rom completed, do not disconnect from the pc, atom will perform a clean boot, once it's booted, blue windows mobile screen shows up and asks you to "tap the screen to start using the device".
Can someone please repost the 2 files above. I cannot seem to see any files on the ftp in uploads/atom. The rest of the directories are fine.

I have just bought an Atom Exec and have upgraded the ROM from seeO2:
Atom Exec Rom Detail From http://www.seeo2.com/user/XdaAtomExe...Oct2006_WWE.vm
English ROM
ROM: 20060721B1WWE
Radio: R060822N_MN2ARC_RS00013
ExtROM: EX0033
Now...I still have problems with the phone function. It either stalls when you do a soft reset or it simply drops out almost phone call I make. I don't think I am telling fibs but I have used the soft reset more than any other function in the phone....20 times a day to reset the phone. I don't think it helps.
I now am experimenting with various other SIM card, it appears the SIM is not the problem. The problem is Mobile 5 has problems reading/keeping the Radio ROM Image information intact in memory.
>Everytime the phone cannot start or I cannot get the phone to restart after it freezes, I check the "System INFO" and it tells me "Radio: Not Ready".
>Everytime the phone is working, I can see "Radio: R060822N_MN2ARC_RS00013".
Now here's more hint, it intermitently drops to Radio: "Not Ready" maybe every 1 to 5 minutes and then I see "Invalid or Missing SIM card" on the Phone section. This stays for about 5 seconds and then it seems to wake up again, flips back to phone starting up mode. During this 5 seconds downtime, it says "Phone is Off" when I try to dial out. Now on very rare successful phone connection....when the radio drops out, guess what, I loose the call, the phone freezes completely and I have to reset the phone for 1 to5 times before I can get the touch screen to respond to touch commands.
When I go into "Wireless Manager" to try to turrn on the phone, the whole phone just freezes. Maybe it just have problem reading the Radio ROM info.
Update: this two days, the phone only has "X" i=on it. cannot turn phone on with wireless manager.

Files in the Uploads/Atom directory have been deleted.
Im very tempted to try the Atom RoM => Exec ROM update but a little scared with the flickering problem.
How are ppl going with this? Has this been resolved or is this something that should not be attempted?
