I broke my backspeaker.

A few days ago The sound of my backspeaker began to go bad. Somtimes it was bad and when I shook the phone it was working. But lateron the shaking wasnt working so i opened my phone and tryed to clean the contacts. When I pushed the surface of the speaker it worked so I am sure its the speaker and not the software.

Im not going to tell you how I tried to fix the speaker :)
Lets just say that theres no warrenty nomore

Where can I buy this speaker (tryed to google or search this forum but found nothing)

Please help

Anybody ??I've read somwhere in this forum that you can replace the speaker with a Nokia speaker. It's better and available at many places. Look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=18384&highlight=speaker+nokia.
But I don't know if that's about the back-speaker???

It's the same as a blueangel main speaker but with a longer lead.

You would need to splice the wires longer.

I did it !!!

I replaced the back speaker with a speaker from alcatel ot511

I used a solder iron (how do you translate a "soldeerbout" in inglish) to coneect the 2 wires to the speaker. And voila .... there was sound.

Its not to loud but the quality seems a bit better.

btw the speaker cost me 2 euro so thats a lot cheaper than the 30 euro you pay for the original xda speaker
