Ladies and Gents,
My old love, the Sony p900, may she rest in peace, has passed on to the other side.
Ie, I've given it to Mrs Vijay555, and she loves it.
However, we find ourselves needing to operator unlock it.
Now, if this was an HTC phone, let's just say I'd be getting my own hands dirty.
But I've no experience in unlocking a p900. I can go the official route, around £20 from the operator, but the geek in me wants to buy the cables to do the job myself. I'm thinking Cruiser cables off ebay, around £12. Unfortunately the usual forums, nokia free and esato, are awash with self-interested resellers.
Anyone got any thoughts on most suitable hardware to buy? I don't want to use remote logs, and I'm not looking for a CarBoot style 10,000 in 1 unlocker. Just a p900 unlock cable, maybe with the ability to reflash and do some other jiggery pokery.
