CID unlocking problem - invalid vender ID

hi am about to upgrade my mda vario to Qtek Rom but when i am trying to do so i am getting this message Invalid Vender ID ?? i have read on the forum it is due to CID lock on my device but i am having problem with CID unlocking it. i am using lokiwiz 2.0b and when i choose c to unlock it then it the screen just disappears. what is the solution ??

unzip the lockiwiz tool to the root of the c: drive

what do u meant by the root of the c drive ? in my devce or PC where is it in my device ?? cheers

cheers workd like charm this time..i dont know why cos last time i was using this tool to unlock my wizard i did it from the D:/ drive. right now i am just about to upgrade it :) hope i succeed this time too.

by the way where can i get i proper t-mobile (uk) settings for GPRS, MMS and so on the best would be a *.cab file !

hmm...i was thinking ..i can see u know a lot..can u recomand me a good ROM to upgrade my wizard ?? right now i have got preinstaled t-mobile rom which seems to be pretty much old and not really good. i have been reading this forum for a while but i am really confiused as to the hole rom upgrade thing. cheers
