some desktop icons disappear

After I install the english rom to my o2 neo, there were two things disappeared. 1. rotate icon on the right bottom, and email, sms etc. shortcuts under the todays links. Anybody help me to recover these things?

... and about the icon, not sure, i think there is a exe, called like icontray_rotate in windows folder , too - like the lock_icontray thing.

but i am not sure, if u can really rotate ur desktop with this tray, because with the locktray exe, u just get the icon, but u cant lock the device with it
