What is StartSAT.exe?

I found this in my \windows\starup folder while doing some house cleaning and wasn't sure what it does. I did a Google search and nothing came up. Anyone know what this is and if I can take the startSAT.lnk file out of my startup folder? Thanks!

This is such an old link that nobody response until almost 2 years later that this damn thing cause me a lot of grief.

This StartSAT generally does not cause any problem for a lot of people and a lot of cases.

It is a program start the STK_service in the SIM card.

There are many functions can be embedded in the SIM cards not just your telephone numbers, SMS and others service provider information such as SMS service phone number or voice mail phone number.

Here is where I got into headaches. I use the phone in China, where they decide to put a lot of preloaded services in the card. Then the advertisements kept coming up that I was almost threw it against the wall, honestly.

Delete it won't hurt.
