This ROM is AKU 2.2, if I understand the numbers correctly.

BTW, I have summitter's 2.3 test 2 but when I go to device info the Rom version is 2.24.10.1WWE. I am guessing this is because it is based on the leaked version from Cingular but would like to confirm this.

It's a corrupted file. I tried downloading it last night and again today just to confirm.. Doesn't seem to be able to get past a certain point before it errors out stating that it's corrupted.

If anyone has gotten it to work, I"d be interested in hearing about it though.. :)

Just downloaded it fine this way no issues, not installed it as i run a UK phone and being new here, and new to the imate systems dont know if it work or not :)

I kepted it on my comp so if someone needs it i can upload to a server to download for others.

It does appear to be corrupted. It only shows 39MB when it should be 51MB. Strange.

I think they're re-uploading the file now, because I'm downloading it repeatedly, and the file size keeps increasing. Shouldn't be more than another few minutes before the full file is there. Last I checked it was at over 37 megs.

EDIT: The file is complete, 50.0 megs. I'm finishing up applying the update now.

Yeah, I'm all finished with the install and have started to reconfigure my phone. Unfortunately, I'm at work and don't have my apps here.

so far so good. i am testing it right now.
installed no problem.
the screen for installation showed a more square version of the wizard.

it has got some new programs and fetures like.

goodlink - real-time push synchronization of email attachments, and PIM data

get express mail - email for corporate, personal mail while on the go.

dont ask me how to use them, its just there.

so far looks to be running faster then normal, but that could be coz its a clean install.

Seems to be working well here. Definitely faster. Will report as more tangible things become apparent. Comm manager has a much nicer look and feel and acquiring an IP address on my wireless network is much quicker.

I just trying to compare to see if this is the same file that was leaked before. No sense in updated if its the same file. So far its the same size and name. Everything seems to match.

Time/Date Stamps, Version Numbers, everything matches. I won't be bothering with it. Running AKU 2.3 and happy.

The main thing i like so far about this rom is :

I dont have the problem were my cpu was runing 100% all the time, and therefore my battery run time was less.
when i run OmpScaler now it shows my cpu is working very low and it would under clock it self. while before the cpu was running at 100% no matter what i did or did not do.

this could be due to fact i hade many apps installed before when trying ompscaler. and recently found out the pocketplus drains the battery quicker when runing ( which could have been the reason why) .

further testing required !

i have installed and tested pocketplus and it is not causing cpu usage to go up much.

it was not pocket plus causing cpu load to goto 100% .

i have installed all the programs that i usually use and my cpu usage is still low when am not running anything, unlike before when it was 100% even when not running enything.

i am happy so far with new rom.

only one day of testing so far, cant complain, "yet".
