Updraged ROM - Big Thanks!!!

Well my stock 8125 has been "flakey" as of late. Finally decided to try and upgrade it... and after refreshing my memory and tools found here... I am really happy with the new ROM. In a recent post somone suggested at 217 rom so I picked a "basic" one. This is the one I used:

Cingular_RUU_WIZARD_217_AKU22_Basic

Whoever put the time and effort into Awizard and the file above... thank you for your time and effort. Also a thanks for the helping threads I ran across in searching for some answers... i.e. pim.vol in the root directory is the file to copy if you want to backup your contacts.

Really liking it so far, seems to be more stable and the new comm manager looks head and shoulders better than whatever I had before. ;)

I'm rather fond of the 2.17 ROM myself. If I could just settle for something that works, I'd still be running it. But I guess I like to endure the pain and frustration of a new ROM every week.

It may have been a typo, but I like your term instead of "upgraded"!
