o2 software or not

i ve just recieve my exec and read a few reviews and got the impressions that i should stay away from the o2 software.How do i not install this.

After a hardreset, just after you set up the security stuff (e.g. the pin), soft reset your unit immediately before it can install any customized (e.g. O2) software.
