GPRS Mail Sync weird Problem

Basically, my kjam only gets emails over GPRS after I pull them to my desktop. I've tried going over all the settings and I can't find the problem. Once I pull the emails to my desktop then they all fly into my KJAM as well over GPRS.

Also for some reason, the main Inbox folder doesn't display the number of unread emails in the subfolders.

anyone have any ideas?
