I did a search for this but only uncovered 2 topics that briefly touched on this subject. What i am hoping is that someone knows if there is a similar type of software to nLite for removing unwanted stuff out of WM5. There are several apps that i either don't use or would like to replace with others that are smaller and quicker in use. As we all know, space is so precious on the memory/storage of the Universal!

Kind regards.

techtalkonline: not really. You will have to use Mamaich's romtools and make your own ROM. Not an easy thing to do. And remember, ROM tools don't cost you space, since you can't use it anyway. But, replacing them with your own apps may be beneficial... but it's not for the feint hearted.

Hi vijay555,

Thanks for the reply. Hmmm, i guess thats the end of that for now then as i am not capable of playing about with ROM's! Pity, as nLite is absolutely superb at stripping out the MS junk from my XP installation, leaving a leaner and quicker OS install. It was just an idea to make these things quicker and even better than it already is.

Cheers!
