Delete fonts.tff

Hi!.I've installed some fonts in /windows/Fonts and they're very large(some Mb).Now I want to delete them and I cannot.The system says that "cannot delete the file.The process cannot acces the file because another process has locked a portion of the file". How can I delete them and free some memory not doing a hard reset? It's hard to install all the app. again...help!
