Question for ilauncher seen above... I was wondering how to get the vertical spacing between icons in ilauncher to be close like that. in mine there spaced vertically far apart. i want them close together like that. theres lots of space wasted on my today screen. i dont want to have to scroll. my icons are only 32x32 so they should be the same as his above. in the settings theres only horizontal spacing... can anybody help?
btw to how many lines to alot for iLauncher, is set to automatic... even wen i set it to 4 lines it still has huge spacing between the the first and 2nd rows of icons.
the icon set used is the qvga version on icons from the expea2 theme.

Hi... you might have gotten that icon set from my post in the Today thread, but maybe not. Anyway, I'm not sure what the setting is exactly, but check to see if you have captions enabled for that tab.
Also, I have found that sometimes iLauncher fucks up the alignment, so I have to disable it and re-enable it in the Today settings to get it to display correctly.
I was also wondering what caption settings you had for the meter displays? I like how they overlap, do you think you could export your settings and upload them here so I could take a look at them?
I will include my own settings, as I have had no trouble with vertical spacing.

is there a way to remove the bar under the device lock plugin... i think its called the tool bar.
i want to eliminate that as well to free up space on my today screen. i dont really need to show my battery meter and access the com manager through there at all or have ne purpose for that bar. if ne one can help that would be great!

You can click "Add shortcut..." then click "Cpl Applets" then select "Lock."
The settings I wanted, to get them, do you think you could go to iLauncher settings, then click "Tools," then "Export Settings," then copy the .ini file from your phone to your computer, rename the file to .txt, and upload it here?
It doesn't take as long as it sounds :)
I've been trying to get my font to display like the ones in your screenshots, to no avail. Are you running version 2.3.0.7?
EDIT:
I misread your post. To remove the Lock plugin from the Today screen, go to the Today control panel, then click "Items," then uncheck the box for "Device Lock" or whatever it's called.
To delete the little tray below that, with Comm Manager and the battery display, you need to use a program like Total Commander, navigate to your Windows directory, and then go to the StartUp folder. From there, delete the Init_Tray.lnk file, and do a soft reset.

thanks for the tip again with the tray thing... it worked
as for the device lock thing... i know how to remove it from my today screen that no problem... im saying... is there a way to put that function on iLauncher that will be able to lock and unlock my phone without having that plugin on my today screen taking space?
i tried jus going to cpl applets but the link it gives u is for the settings of the lock function. i want the actual ability to lock not just the settings.
same with bluetooth and wifi... i want to be able to put a link where it just turns on and off the bluetooth capability instead of just bringing me to the bluetooth settings page. i want to add the button as if u were accessing the com manager and pushing the wifi or bluetooth button but on ilauncher

I think that maybe you might want to try some of the shortcuts thread here ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=42913&start=150 ). If you create a .lnk file for the exact property you wish to edit, then cheate a shortcut to that .lnk within iLauncher, then you can achieve what you're trying to do.
After reading over your settings, I realized that it's the battery meters that contain the font settings! Can you tell me where you found the set of expea2 icons for iLauncher? I did a Google search but couldn't come up with anything for QVGA...

I've been looking for Expea2 icons for QVGA the last three weeks and I still can't find the meters that are shown in the first post in this thread. I have all the other expea2-related icons.
PLEASE...if someone have them...post it here.
