The Wizard is a superb piece of kit. I grow to love mine more and more each day with every cool new app that arrives.
It sounds to me like you would be better off with a standard camera phone. The simplest one you can find. If you just wanted to sent texts and pictures why on earth did you buy a Wizard ?

Wow! You've got issues peanut. As the OP, read your first post again plz and then ask yourself if anyone would even want to assist you after a rant like that? Your mom obviously never taught you to "ask nicely" did she?
What's even more amazing is that in spite of your OP on a wizard enthusiasts forum, you did get help and it was "buy a simple phone". I concur with that advice btw.

You obviously haven't read the book otherwise you would know that it is not possible to send a picture attachment with a call. wouldn't you but then you can't read can you. Neither can you search the forum for help on sending pictures attachments or like me you would have found that there is nothing specific on that subject . Like I said .......ignorant

right an update for all those posters that cannot read or spell and clearly know nothing about using the XDA mini s (or presumably they would have explained how simple these functions are)
To send a picture message on the Mini s takes 24 separate selections . As my Nokia symbian 6600 takes just 2x keystrokes I doubt if even you lot could argue that it is a simple straightforward process on the miniS .( bet that won't stop you trying)
This process is not repeat NOT in the manual or on o2 support site or on this forum . It took the o2 technical support person 11 minutes to check all the relevant settings on the mini S and then to go through the 24 keystroke process involved in sending a picture with a text message. Hardly easy and straightforward!...
Glad to see that all the idiots that were so quick to flame and slow to offer help are all `johnny foreigners' and not Brits .To you I show you the Agincourt salute:D :D :D :D

Please, guys, keep it civil! According to the rules of this forum, we should *not* call peanut names! Please DO NOT call him
an idiot,
a nootnick,
a nincompoop,
a flaming cheerio,
a moron,
an Ann Coulter tampon wannabe,
a supurating 'rhoid,
blood-in-your-stool,
John Ashcroft's Falwell-lipo-Crisco,
an idiot (again, please, don't hurt his feelings),
an ignorant sphincter,
an aho (watch your Japanese, people!),
a pendejo,
a Kam (ouch ouch!),
a frak-up,
a cross between a shih-tzu and a bulldog,
etc.
Please do as I did and do not call him any denigrating names. That would not be cool.
Just a friendly reminder of this forum's rules :-)

Honest to God, no more of this for me. No more bitching about that which I cannot change. Makes me such an angry young man.
You sir need to find inner peace. I seriously doubt if your local carrier is trained in this however. Possibly if you moved to the States Cingular or Verizon could schedule your therapy. Surely no one here could provide you with the help that you desperately need. I'm in the same boat, needing help from a higher power. That's why I sit in a corner and sing to myself ...
Kumbaya my Lord, kumbaya
Kumbaya my Lord, kumbaya

Holy hackles Butt-man!!!
I go away for 15 minutes and look at the mess you guys made!
No seriously, I'm glad I stayed out of this one.
I read the OP and just asked myself "What the heck does this guy want?" I mean he didn't ask for help or suggestions. He just cried about how much different a WM5 PDA with a phone built-in is compared to a phone which has symbian OS on it (I also graduated from Nokia Symbian phones, they are fine products but phones first).
I think the point that was missed is that a Wizard is not a phone with PDA capabilities. Those are called smartphones like the typhoon. No the Wizard is a PDA that has Phone functionality added to it. With that comes the compleitx of things that phone don't have.
Like it or don't like it, to each their own. Personally I like my Wizard but then I don't mind spending a couple of weeks dinkering with it to find all of the software to make it truly the solution I want.

To send a picture message on the Mini s takes 24 separate selections .
24 Selections ? What I cant understand is why you would want to play a round of bubble breaker when all you want to do is send a picture ?
