the following wiki link says that the windows mobile 5.0 devices has push email

does that mean the HTC universal has push email?

It does for me - I installed the popular QTEK ROM upgrade and have been enjoying Push Email and OTA syncing of calendar/contacts/tasks ever since. I dare say it noe has it as standard on ones sold new noew, but I'd check that first.
