Don't own an Apache, but I am happy that the Apache forums have been added. It makes xda-developers an invaluable resource.

not a US only phone we have it here in New Zealand :-)
Linux boots on mine and GPE works but a few features are missing like battery status and sleep, etc

The Apache is also a NZ phone not just US only. NZ models are connected Telecom New Zealand (CDMA):D :D :D

hey man i tryed to install linux 4 times 4 diffrent ones can you recommend a install
