I was able to get it working on my SuSE 10.1 installation, however it always disconnects after 2.5 minutes. The Kinternet log bitches about missing 4 echos.

Any one else having this issue?

I have the exact same issue. Did you find a solution to the problem?

Also, not being a linux guru, I have noticed that rc.local does nothing for starting up in SLED 10. Any ideas what I need to change to get it to automaticly load the driver?

ppc6700freak --

edit your /etc/ppp/options file

and comment the following remarks

lcp-echo-failure 4
lcp-echo-interval 30
