@all,
having gotten my machine exchanged today i thought best to reinstall a full backup of the old machine. tough shit though, doesnt work. says not from this machine.
checked on regional settings, rom etc. versions, deleted & reinstalled active sync and all partners; same problem: not from this machine.
now worst of all, my sim card got destroyed by the moron of tmobile technician. all telefonnumbers lost.
(no, i did not synchronize numbers with outlouk, so all numbers are gone.)
checked on protocol version and they differ- what determins the protocol version?
boot loader is V0.1, the old machine was V0.2- how is that changed?
any idea on how to reinstall an old backup onto a new machine?
or
howto get data from backup file without installing it, like via excel or so?
