Are you sure you tried the latest build of SlovoEd? It works like a charm on my S200, loads in no more than 2 seconds...

I am playing with a couple of Bdicty Italian<>English dictionaries and Lingovosoft has a "full text translator" that looks interesting. None of those are free but Bdicty does support free dictionaries if someone wanted to create one.
