Hi,
Yes they do.
I got one off eBay and it was immediately recognised as 4gb by my JAMin. I had to buy a new card reader as my internal one would only read it as 1gb.
I bought one from Moby Memory for £7 which also doubles as a USB drive when the card is inserted.

I bought the transcend one (4GB) from Newegg for ~86 after rebate...and it worked the minute that i put it in my Qtek S200....i was apprehensive as well, but after reading the posts here, i bought one and luckily it worked fine...now just waiting on the rebate....

Hello. Same as above, QTEK S200 + Transcend SD 4gb 150X
Everything works perfectly, even quite fast
I only noticed two flaws:
1) the start menu opening, if there are icons linked to programs on the card, is quite slow; just like the today panel had some difficulties reading the huge FAT32 table or structure.
2) photocamera only allows saving to internal memory and network path. Not to SD Storage Card space as before with 1GB SD ...
Any hint ?
Thanks everybody

Hi Valerio.

Could you please find out read and write speeds? I would like to know, because I would like to buy that card too.
2) photocamera only allows saving to internal memory and network path. Not to SD Storage Card space as before with 1GB SD ...
Do you have more than 2GB of free space on the card? If so, try to fill the card to have less than 2GB of free space and it should be able to save photos to the card.
You can also increase speed by conversion (or format) to FAT16 with larger blocks, but its inefficient for small files because they take more space. Search the forum for details and how to do it.

i have taken photo and video to the sd card with no data and with 3 gigs of data on the card. no issues for me. once in a while it tells me i dont have space but i do a soft reset and problem is gone
2) photocamera only allows saving to internal memory and network path. Not to SD Storage Card space as before with 1GB SD ...
Any hint ?Keywords: network path. It is Camera software restriction. Hide this by tweaker and camera soft will see Storage Card. The same fact with ExtROM unlocking.

Thanks for your answer, but now I have LESS than 1GB Free on the SD card and camera is steel seeing only:
- internal storage
- network path

SD cards often have to be formatted by the camera to be seen used properly. Could this be the problem?

Sorry but haven't understood.
We're talking about the Prophet Internal Camera. How could I format the SD card from elsewhere ?
Btw, I definetly guess that the problem is \network path, not the SD card dimension or allocation table.
For example, even using this hack:
Change the photo storage location to storage card
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Camera\Image\Savet o
0 change 1
I got the default save-to path to \network directory
It means that the camera options have only two allowed values:
0 = internal storage
1 = external storage
and if there's a "\network" path before "Storage card" (just like I always see in every installation procedure), only the first two can be seen.
I.e. network and NOT storage card.
Question is now: how could I hide such a service "network" path ?
I guess it was created by Resco Explorer for mounting remote directories, but I am not able to remove/hide it
Thanks

Silly me

Set Resco Explorer Options Add-Ins to <as "My Network" root>
then check SKTools->Tune Up->System Tweaks->"Enable view network share in file explorer=No
SK Tools 3.0.41 beta did this and many others tricks http://s-k-tools.com/sktools/skt.zip

You can :)
I formated the 4gb card with a cardreader. then inserted into the prophet.. worked without any problems..
and i can still store my pictures with the original camera onto the sd card.. just pulled the old card out, put the new 4 gb card in.. all settings were like before...
and yes, i can proof that this works :D

Yeah yeah
I absolutely agree, Tias.
I did the same...
but there was a language misunderstanding, as we were talking about the 4GB SD card seen by the Prophet internal camera (and the <network> issue is the clue, I guess), not an SD formatted by a photocamera as Noony advised.
Btw, Noony, NO PROBS! Thanks for trying..
Last, many thanks to Lvlx for the solution. I'm trying it soon and will let you know
Thanks again everybody

I'm glad I saw this anyway. I've used the registry tweak and now I'm very happy that photos store on the storage card :D

THANKS!
It worked perfectly, as soon as the "Network" path disappeared from root of my Qtek
The SKtools trick you suggested was already set, as there was a preexisting "No" :)
Ah, just a note to the top of this thread: I do have more than 2.5gb free on my card, and the camera seems accepting it as is... Even Fat32 formatted
As I'm here, you told about ROM update. May I apply the cross-platform update to my Italian QTEK S200 ?
Will I loose the language customization and change to english ?
Thanks again, lvlx!
