I am really happy with this Bluetooth Speakerphone. I picked up 3 from Amazon for $17.50 on sale with free shipping they used to have a Retail of $149. I used it tonight out by the airport a plane was flying overhead ( i was outside the car with it) Amazingly I could still here the other end of the call. I have one for each car now and one for the house. I have been using it for about 2 weeks. Awesome.
I have tried about 4 other BT headsets (Nokia, Plantroincs, Jabra) , I am still running the old BT stack from Cingular the 1.33 WE. I have the best range (with out the BT static several meters) with this it has a 12 hour talk time a 20 day standby. It comes with 2 AA NiMH, a visor clip, glass mount, a 12V DC coiled car charger and a AC adapter, with a articulating uni-diretcional mic.
I think that it has to do with the AA batteries.
Compusa have had these on MGR Special for $38. Amazon is back to $30 ( I read the reviews that some gave this, I just don't get where they are coming from.
