Please be informed that there are some references within the O.S. of this device to IR (InfraRed) connections and IR file trasfer.
It seems they are not in any kind referred to IR (which is not even present in this device), but to the same functions the phone may offer with BT (Bluetooth) connections.
Hence, the confirmation mark you may add to IR Trasfers (translation may differ) within "Settings - Connections" is just referred to BT connections.
BT connections cannot even take place if you do not activate such function in the above mentioned place.
Do not go back to your dealer for phone substitution then... ;-)
