Ok
I was in a hurry so this is the problem: I've had a nice Jamin but my company has decided to give to the employees Blackberry. After that I've sold my prophet and now I'm stuck with this ugly BlackBerry regreting the days with my Jamin. Because I love Windows mobile but I need the BB conectivity I was thinking to combine those needs and to find a solution to use Blackberry on a Windows mobile device. After some digging on the Internet I've found this program on the T-mobile site and posted here with the kind request to one of the users to try it on the prophet, to see if it's at least installing.. If it would be OK I will buy another Jamin and get rid of that stupid device they call it "Smartphone"
Thnk you in advance to all who might help !

just tired BlackBerry Internet service which works with my 9100 and 9000 (normal Qtek WWE ROM's)
DOes not work with S200, radio ROM 2.07 nor 2.30 - just won't generate the PIN needed to register device..
Others might try, but those are my findings..

Does anyone has blackberry software works for Qtek S200?

it's not the problem of the software, but the device just won't genera the PIN, so you cannot register the device to BB service..
Tested Qtek 9000, 9100 and TyTN, all of them work, but S200 not..
Sorry for that - though there is no evident iference in S200 and Wizzard (9100) architecture..

So there is no way to use S200 as Blackberry, right?

Use Forums search ... WM6 have a different OS Version number and Blackbarry for MDA doesnt like this version number. My English is bad ... if you have WM6, you can edit your OS to run Blackberry MDA!! Im not sure if Smart, have patch his WM6 Version. Your WM6 Version must have the same Version number like AKU2.3 then it must work.

Hi c0rnholio / Others,
Need a bit of a help here.
I am using Fantastic Mobiz XBow v1.1i rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=302158) on my G4 Prophet.
Due to this WM6 upgrade this phone reports itself as a HTC Wizard. (found at Settings - Device Information - Identity - Model No.
I have extensively gone through this entire thread and seen:
Your help for Wizard:

Final outcome for Wizard:

I disassembelled the coredll.dll to get this:
EXPORT GetVersionExW
GetVersionExW
STMFD SP!, {R4,R5,LR} ; GetVersionEx
MOV R3, #0x114
MOV R2, #5
MOV R1, #2
MOV LR, #0x3C8
MOV R4, #3
MOV R5, #0
STR R3, [R0]
STR R2, [R0,#4]
STR R1, [R0,#8]
STR LR, [R0,#0xC]
STR R4, [R0,#0x10]
STRH R5, [R0,#0x14]
MOV R0, #1
LDMFD SP!, {R4,R5,LR}
BX LR
; End of function GetVersionExW
My understanding is as follows:
R2: Major version - 5
R1: Minor version - 2
LR: Decimal - 968
This I need to change to 5.1.195
Now I hex-edited the OS.nb to the following:
Curent: 05 20 A0 E3 02 10 A0 E3 F2 EF A0 E3
New : 05 20 A0 E3 01 10 A0 E3 C3 E0 A0 E3
! ! !
The items above the ! mark are the ones I changed.
I then flashed this hexed OS into my phone.
Then once phone was setup, I changed the AKU to show as .2.0.0 (HKLM\System\Versions\Aku)
I found the Device showing the desired OS version (Settings - About)
Windows Mobile 6
OS 5.1.195 (Build 17217.2.0.0)
Issues I found are as follows:
1. I found ONLY one instance of this hex string in the ENTIRE OS.nb!! I saw people advising to change this TWICE.....but I could NOT find the second instance at all!
2. After doing all as stated above, when I installed BBConnect_PocketPC_BB_2.1.2.16, It would not work. I would start and then show as stopped (within 1 second)
Please help!!
