Lock key pad

hi all, is they anyway to lock the keypad automaticaly? like holding the red key down. i know you can add a simple pin on the device to do this but just seems backwards.... i have a xda IQ. or does one of the other ROM's have this option in it?

is there any keypad lock software by which we can manually lock the keypad and unlock it ..
like two keys to lock and unlock , as it is there in normal mobile phones //
