People! just to share my experience. If you do not have a router at home and want to access the internet on your HTC device. Use a linux box and set up Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). The results are more than impressive.
I started by using the same PC running Windows XP, but when I swtiched to Linux, the connection has bee VERY fast, and I havent had to restart the host at all.
Need help on how to do that? I'm putting together a little Manual... should be up in a short while.
