Hello,

I've read some posts that explain how to make a software upgrade to my Qtek S200 to Jamin or Dopod rom. Before I make the update, I want to backup my existing S200 rom with aWizard.

Instead of the backup, I read about CID unlocking if you want to be able to downgrade again to an older rom version, so I would like to CID unlock my S200.

There are some links in the forum to UnlockCID application, that points to xda-developers ftp, but the archive was removed.

Please, anyone can upload again the file or send me by e-mail to dagasoft(at)gmail.com.

I've just discovered that aWizard gives the option of CID unlock device.

Do this work for a Qtek S200?

after reading more posts, I've found that CID unlock is not possible for my Qtek IPL/SPL 2.09.

Btw, is possible to upload a different firmware with the hacked Rom Update Utility, but I cant backup my existing rom before.

I see the only possible way to CID unlock my S200 nowadays is using jafwm, so I would be able to run r2sd all to backup my existing Qtek S200 ESP rom.

You can upgrade with the existing in imate ftp...

This way can't be used if you have 2.15.001 IPL:SPL
