hey everyone ..i recently upgraded to Ivan wm5 V4R3 and im having some small issuses with the backlight and wondering if anyone could help me solve them.

if the phone is sitting on the table... untouched.... with the screen off...sometimes at random intervals the backlight will just suddenly light up.....this is extreemly annoying in the cases where it is either in my pocket with the screen off... then it will suddenly turn on and then the touch screen is active in my pocket... or it is on the table in my bedroom... i am almost asleep... and bang.. on comes this bright light that lights up the room....

this happens when the fone is not touched.. charging and also when not charging... docked and undocked.... or when the screen is off ..... or on.. any help would be greatly appreciated...

I was experiencing the same with ivans ... but it only happens when the bluetooth is on.. if you turn the bluetooth off.. it should not happen... try it..

For some reason I've noticed this bug on TuMa 1.4 and Logout's ROM, but didn't seem to notice it on TuMa 1.3....
Turning off the bluetooth does indeed seem to help, and thus saves a large amount of batter power.

its due to the bluetooth reset on resume fix, it stops you BT turning off but it also makes the PPC wake up repeatedly. I recommend using a 3rd party program with a 'stay off!' function. I personally use Mortsaver as its freeware and i love it :D
