T-Mobile message service is being updated

Some times when I try to make a call, I get a message something like "T-Mobile message service is being updated, please try again later" and the call doesn't connect. Ive spoken to T-Mobile about this, but all they offer is "Take the battery out, put it back and try again".

Is the unit faulty?

I had the same problem. I was trying to dial a phone number I had imported from outlook. Outlook had put a load of junk in the phone number. If you remove the junk, it should work.

Example…

+44 (0) 1543 732901 will fail,
+441543732901 will work.
