View Full Version : Bluetooth Headset Does Not Ring When Call Received

My Cingular 8125 is fairly new to me, so I apologize if this question has been answered before. I have searched the forum and haven't found anything.

When my Motorola HS820 Bluetooth headset is paired with my phone, and I receive a call, the ringtone doesn't come through the headset to alert me. This can be annoying, especially if I am in the car and can't hear the phone ringing. Is there a way to make it so that I can be alerted, through the BT headset, when a call waiting to be answered?

Someone told me that 'JETware Bluetooth' will do it for me, but I took a look at all the other features (like copying contacts to the headset, which I don't need because I use Voice Command through the headset), and I don't think I really need any of them, except for this one. Paying for software to activate something like this, which worked with my last (non-WinMobile) phone seems like a real waste, and overkill.

Is there a registry key that can be edited, or a small app/hack that I can install that does this.

Thanks!
