Hi.

I remember reading a few posts with people wanting to remove the battery icon on the top bar of today screen.

I don't have an universal to test this, but on my iPAQ hw6945 device I have to play around with, the battery icon isn't there...

In the registery at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\

There is a DWORD key called "ShowTitleBarClock"

If I set this to 1, I get a clock on the top bar and no battery icon
If I set this to 0, I get a battery icon and no clock...

This might work on other WM5 devices to remove the battery icon!

I think that's for all applications apart from the Today Screen itself.

Cheers,

Steve.

It's worthless if it does not work for the Universal. So the important question is: "Does it work for the Universal?"

No, it doesn't work on the Universal - it does what I said, I'm pretty sure, probably because it's on AKU2, not 2.2.

Cheers,

Steve.

Thanks Steve, just as I suspected. :(
