Help me connect my MDA to my laptop

I have a local dial-up connection that I would like to use to connect my laptop to the internet. I see the program "modem link", but it does not allow me to put my settings in there... any suggestions? Your help is very much appreciated. :D

The settings for Internet connection is at

Start -> Settings -> Connection (bottom tab) -> Connections

Click on the "Add a new modem connection"
